Lisa Danaczko is an experienced writer and nonprofit professional committed to strengthening communities through the arts and education. As the development officer for Building Educated Leaders for Life (BELL), she is the primary fundraiser for out-of-school time programs across Maryland’s lower-income communities. She consults local and national nonprofits on external affairs strategy, including cross-channel communications, grants, events, and relationship management. In Fall 2015, Lisa finished a draft of her first novel and is currently revising. Previously, Lisa managed donor and alumni relations at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and School of Education. After moving to Baltimore in 2010, Lisa had the opportunity to teach talented young people in Wide Angle Youth Media’s middle school program. Since then, she has volunteered for the organization in the classroom and on the Development and Marketing & Communications committees.
