A Way of Life

Da’El Clapperton created this digital story as part of Wide Angle’s fall 2011 Mentoring Video Project curriculum. Here is what Da’El has to say about her film:

Hi, my name is Da’El, and for the past two months, I’ve been working on a digital story about my religion. My film goes into some of the laws I follow and the practices my family keeps, as well as my personal feelings about the way that I live. There are a few places where I quote from our religious text. My goal is simply to explain why I live as I do, so please don’t be offended. I even managed to get some input from my friends and other young people from my congregation. I worked really hard on this and this is my first video I’ve made all myself, so I really hope you enjoy it.
