Wide Angle Designers decided to come together and create a black history month project. We all chose 12 African Americans that influence us here in Baltimore. The calendar starts from February 2019-January 2020. This calendar also gives you a small explanation on who the people are.

Each of us worked very hard on creating these portraits. We all took pictures of these people, uploaded them on the computers, we then started to trace the pictures and adding details to their faces using Adobe Illustrator. The process took some effort but we did it. Each person has truly inspired us and that’s why we chose them to be in this project.

D’Asia Carter is a 15 year old sophomore at Mervo High School. She is a new designer at Wide Angle. She works hard and tries her best. She comes up with great ideas and she tries to help as many people as possible. D’Asia has her own type of style that no one else has. She is very creative.
