ANNUAL FALL EVENTS
Wide Angle Youth Media’s fall events showcase a year’s worth of media created by compelling storytellers, dynamic photographers, insightful journalists, and talented designers, who apply their artistic skills to uplift stories of their communities. We gather hundreds of community members to engage in conversation, recognize our city’s challenges and rejoice in its triumphs. Our events have become a hallmark of the organization, as they celebrate our youth, their talents and their perspectives.
Highlight reel for Wide Angle’s 2019 annual event, Listen. Amplify. Repeat.
We have hosted several events at the Maryland Institute College of Art, including in 2019 (Listen. Amplify. Repeat.), 2018 (Black Butterfly) and 2017 (Healing). Previous locations have included 2640 Space (2016, This Is Baltimore), Creative Alliance (2015, On the Set), and The Real News Network (2014, On the Set).
