Derrica Lane is a seasoned marketing strategist and is currently Director, Special Initiatives with The Washington Post. With nearly 20 years of creative and integrated marketing experience,  Derrica has worked with leading media brands and platforms including Time, Inc., NBCUniversal, CNN and CBS. Derrica has led campaign strategy with award-winning brands such as AT&T, Invesco and MasterCard while also serving as a mentor to early career marketers. 

With a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from Fordham University, Derrica is deeply passionate about storytelling and media literacy. A proud native of West Baltimore, Derrica continues to reside in the city enjoying all Baltimore has to offer with her husband and son.
