Emerging filmmakers from Wide Angle Youth Media bring fresh perspectives to the screen in this collection of short films. From poetry to advocacy,  they emphasize the power of diverse artistic voices. Venture into the cultural fabric of Maryland via an adaptation of the poetry of Amanda Gorman, stories that uplift Latinx experiences, and a series highlighting folklife artists, supported by the Maryland State Arts Council.

There will be a 15-minute Q&A session with two of our apprentices after the screening.

Our film block will also screen at the following days/times (without a Q&A session):
