Our inspiring high school photo exhibit will be on view at Red Emma's!
These portraits were created by students in Wide Angle Youth Media's fall and spring high school photography class taught by Sydney Allen. Students explored new approaches to Portraiture as a response to an overall generational desire to be less looked at, but still wanting to be visible. The photos presented are a result of students' examination of how to make portraits without using the face or facial identifiers.
This touring exhibition launched at Hotel Revival and will open at Red Emma's, July 9 - August 4.
