Moira Fratantuono
CHIEF DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Moira has over twelve years of experience in creative youth development. Her artistic passion lies in promoting intercultural communication, strengthening community relationships, and uplifting the voices of those who are marginalized. Her body of work includes facilitating murals in the US and abroad, co-creating an international collaborative blog that connects youth in Baltimore and India, and illustrating a bilingual children’s book. She has also been involved in projects overseas in Honduras, Nicaragua, Vietnam, England and India.
Moira moved to Maryland to pursue her Masters in Community Arts at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2008 and spent five years working with BCCC’s Refugee Youth Project to support the social and emotional integration of refugees. In Fall 2013, she joined Wide Angle as the Youth Photography Traveling Exhibition Coordinator. In 2015, Moira took on the Program Director role. In 2018 she transitioned to the Development and Communications Director, and in 2024, she moved to her current position.
