Najja Akinwole

COMMUNITY ARTS COLLABORATIVE TEACHING ARTIST

Najja Akinwole is a multi-award-winning 2D digital animator from Baltimore, MD. She specializes in storytelling through puppetry, 2D animation, and illustration, with a focus on children's and middle-grade narratives. She earned her BFA in animation with a minor in illustration from MICA (Maryland Institute for College Art). A first-year CAC (Community Arts Collaborative) AmeriCorps teaching artist, Najja continues to pursue freelance client projects within the publishing industry.
